County Public Library has announced plans to sell copies of “Seeing the Elephant,” an original story by Carol Kammen.
“Seeing the Elephant” highlights a young boy’s remarkable 1823
meeting with “Margaret,” the first elephant to visit Ithaca. The story
will delight school-aged children and their families.
Copies of the book were generously donated by Kammen, with all
proceeds benefitting TCPL programs and services. The book is $5 and can
