Library to Host DJ Workshop for Teens

Area teens will have an opportunity to explore advanced software for blending and mixing music July 2 during Tompkins County Public Library’s free “Learn to DJ” workshop.

Local entertainer, DJ Gundz, will offer a tutorial on Traktor Pro software and help participants adjust beats per minute and create special effects on songs.  Participants are encouraged to bring a CD or USB drive containing their favorite songs.

This program will be held from 5 to 6:30 p.m. in the Library’s Thaler/Howell Programming Room.

For more information, contact Teen Services Librarian Regina DeMauro at (607) 272-4557 extension 274 or rdemauro@tcpl.org.

This program has been made possible by the Tompkins County Public Library Foundation through generous support from the Phyllis and Charles Brodhead Memorial Endowed Fund.
