Library to Host ESL Book Club

Tompkins County Public Library will host the inaugural meeting of its ESL Book Club December 3 with a discussion of “The Hangman” by Louise Penny.

“The Hangman” leads readers through a suspense-filled murder investigation and is a perfect title to help ESL students improve vocabulary, reading and conversation skills.

ESL students of all abilities and interests are invited to attend this free program, which will be held from 3:15 to 4:30 p.m. in the Library’s BorgWarner Community Room.

Copies of “The Hangman” are available to borrow at the Library through support from the Finger Lakes Library System’s Outreach Mini-Grant Program.
