Tompkins County Public Library, in partnership with the Cancer Resource Center of the Finger Lakes (CRCFL), will host “Cancer 101,” a presentation by Bob Riter,Thursday, March 3 at 7 p.m. in the Library’s BorgWarner Community Room.
During this free presentation, Riter will field audience questions
and discuss cancer basics, treatment options and available resources for
patients and caregivers.
Riter, CRCFL’s executive director, is a cancer survivor and the
author of “When Your Life is Touched by Cancer: Practical Advice and Insights
for Patients, Professionals and Those Who Care.” He writes a popular
monthly column about cancer for “The Ithaca Journal.”
