Tompkins County Public Library will offer instruction, advice and support for downloading free eBooks and audiobooks to mobile devices during the YMCA’s Thursday, February 16 Healthy Senior Resource Fair.
This
program will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. and offer an opportunity for
library cardholders, and those wishing to register for a card, to learn how to
use library resources to download and stream books, music and movies to iPads,
iPods, Kindles, Nooks and smartphones through the Finger Lakes Library System’s
free Overdrive, Zinio and Hoopla applications.
Participants
should bring their library card or sign up for a free card at the event. Photo
identification with a current, local address is required to receive a new card.
