Tompkins County Public Library will close at 4 p.m., Wednesday, May 31 to accommodate the Tompkins County Public Library Foundation’s annual Inside Story spring fundraiser.
The
Inside Story event, being held from 5 to 6:30 p.m., serves as the Foundation’s premier
fundraising event of the year. Contributions in support of the Foundation’s
$55,000 event goal will provide essential funding for Library collections and
programming.
This
event is open to the public, however, advance registration is required. To
register, contact Development Assistant Susanna Drbal at sdrbal@tcpl.org on or before May 25.
The
Tompkins County Public Library Foundation serves as a bridge between the
community and the library, making it possible for individuals, businesses,
trusts and granting organizations to ensure the Library’s ability to keep up
with evolving community needs, increased usage, changing demographics and major
