Library to Host Interactive Storytime Featuring Authors of “Silly Nomads”

Tompkins County Public Library will host Marcus Mohalland and Jan Lewis, authors of the “Silly Nomads” series, for an interactive storytime for young readers, August 2 at 11 a.m. in the Library’s BorgWarner Community Room.

During this fun-filled event, young readers will participate in readings from the first two volumes of the “Silly Nomads” series, “Silly Nomads From Palmerston Close” and “Silly Nomads Go Ninja Crazy.”

The “Silly Nomads” series follow Suhcrom and Naddih, two mischievous Jamaican brothers who use their imaginations to create amazing adventures.  Perfect for readers aged 8 to 12, the books introduce readers to Jamaican culture and encourage young imaginations.

For more information about the series, visit www.mohallandlewisllc.com.  For more information about this and other Library programs, contact the Youth Services Department at (607) 272-4557 extension 275.
