Tompkins County Public Library and Cornell University’s Center for Materials Research with host “Unknown Powders” Saturday, September 10 from 1-2 p.m. in the Library’s BorgWarner Community Room.
Families will
explore how powders react when you add a chemical indicator (vinegar, baking
soda solution, iodine, and pH indicator solution) to them. Using their
observations, they will try to figure out what two powders are in an unknown
mixture.
Families Learning
