In
celebration of the upcoming release of the film “Catching Fire,” teen fans of
the “Hunger Games” series are invited to participate in TCPL’s own “Quarter
Quell” event, November 23 from 1 to 3 p.m. in the BorgWarner Community Room.
“Quarter Quell,” is described in “Catching Fire,” as a special edition of the “Hunger Games” that takes place every 25 years. Participants face new challenges and increased competition during the anniversary editions of the Games.
During TCPL’s “Quarter Quell,” teens will compete in challenges inspired by the books, including: nature identification, camouflage, target practice and shelter building events. Prizes will be awarded and refreshments will be available.
