Tompkins
County Public Library will join libraries, schools and bookstores throughout
the world in celebrating the magic of Harry Potter February 5 from 6 to 7:30
p.m. during “Harry Potter Book Night.”
Open
to wizards, witches, and muggles of all ages, this free program will include
crafts, games, activities and snacks. Participants are encouraged to wear
their favorite Harry Potter-themed costumes.
“Harry
Potter Book Night,’ a program of Bloomsbury Children’s Books, is designed to
give new and existing fans a chance to share the wonder of J.K. Rowling’s
immensely popular series and to introduce the next generation of readers to the
magic of Harry Potter.
