The Tompkins County Public Library will host an evening of “Love” stories with the Ithaca Area Storytellers, Tuesday, February 22 at 7:00 PM in the Thaler/Howell Programming Room.
If you could change your soul to win the heart of the one you love, knowing you could never change it back, would you? They say that love never dies, that it lasts throughout eternity. But how do we know? And what is love anyway? These questions – and more – will be asked by members of Ithaca Area Storytellers at a special program celebrating romance, love, and passion. Drawing on folk tales and mythology from around the world, the storytellers will weave enchanting and thought-provoking yarns about that most mysterious and magical of human conditions---love!
This program is free and suitable for adults and children over the age of five.
Ithaca Area Storytellers is an informal group of individuals dedicated to promoting the timeless art of storytelling and supporting those who aspire to perpetuate the oral tradition.
