LIBRARY TO HOST PROGRAM ON GENDER PAY GAP

The Tompkins County Public Library, the Cornell Campus Club and the American Association of University Women will host Professor Francine Blau for "The Gender Pay Gap: Going, Going . . .But Not Gone," a discussion on the trends of gender inequities in the workplace, Thursday, February 10 at 10:00 AM in the BorgWarner Community Room.

Blau, Frances Perkins Professor of Industrial Relations and Labor Economics at Cornell University's school of Industrial Labor Relations, will look at discrimination against women, whether or not it still exists and what role qualifications play in reducing the gap.
