Tompkins County Public Library will host “Poetry for the People,” a free writing workshop in celebration of National Poetry Month, Monday, April 17 from 10 a.m. to noon in the BorgWarner Community Room-West.
Facilitated
by Tompkins County Poet Laureate Irene “Zee” Zahava, this workshop will provide
a safe and stimulating atmosphere for participants to create and share poetry.
It is designed for experienced poets and novice writers and will feature a
variety of fun and inspiring prompts.
