Library to Host World Cinema Thursdays


Tompkins County Public Library has announced the selection of “Quilombo” as the April featured film during World Cinema Thursday, April 20, at 2 p.m. in the BorgWarner Community Room-East.

Facilitated by Ron Krieg, World Cinema Thursdays offer a monthly opportunity for movie lovers to watch and discuss world cinema classics. These free programs will be held on the third Thursday of each month through December 2017.

Krieg, a Queens native, is a retired United States Postal Service clerk and a cinema, photography, history and political science enthusiast. He has been presenting films at Lifelong of Ithaca for six years.
