Tompkins
County Public Library and Cornell Cooperative Extension of Tompkins County will
partner for “Get a Job! Summer Employment for Teens,” a free workshop on
finding local summer jobs, April 14 from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. in the Library’s
Thaler/Howell Programming Room.
Beth
Bannister, program manager for Cooperative Extension’s Joint Youth Commission,
will offer information about employment opportunities for teens, as well as
instructions for completing job applications, basic interviewing skills and how
to dress for success.
This
program is free and open to teens ages 14 and up. For more information,
