Tompkins
County Public Library will host a special evening screening of the
award-winning film, “Birdman,” April 22 at 6 p.m. in the BorgWarner Community
Room-East.
“Birdman,”
also knows as “The Unexpected Virtue of Ignorance,” won the Academy Award for
Best Motion Picture of the Year and Best Director in 2015. It stars
Michael Keaton as a washed-up actor willing to risk it all to produce and star
in his autobiographical play on Broadway.
This
screening is free and open to an adult audience.
