Tompkins County Public Library, in partnership with Buffalo Street Books, will host poet David Lehman for a reading from his new book, “Poems in the Manner Of,” Thursday, August 3 at 6:30 p.m. in the BorgWarner Community Room.
An accomplished writer and
the editor of “The Best American Poetry,” Lehman teaches at The New School and
lives in New York City and Ithaca. His latest collection offers an exploration
of centuries of writers who have, and continue to, influence his work.
This program is free and
open to the public. Books will be available for purchase at the event.
