Tompkins County Public Library has announced the October
return of “Ithaca Journeys,” a free hiking program designed to encourage
community members to get active while exploring local natural settings.
Beginning Saturday, October 1 with a hike through Cascadilla Gorge, Ithaca
Journeys is free and open to adults who enjoy shared, moderate-paced activity.
The Cascadilla hike will begin at Treman Triangle at the start of
the gorge trail at 10:30 a.m. and last approximately one hour.
Facilitators from the Library’s Information and Learning Services staff will
share a short poem, story or literary passage and provide snacks and water at
the mid-way point.

and November 5.
