Tompkins County Public Library will host London author and arts educator Lynda Waterhouse for an evening of art and writing, Monday, October 24 at 6 p.m. in the Thaler/Howell Programming Room.
Waterhouse
will share slides from featuring works included in The Wallace Collection and
guide--with help from local children’s author Anne Mazer--participants through
a series of writing exercises.
Based in
London, The Wallace Collection is a national museum which houses art collected
by the four Marquesses of Hertford during and Sir Richard Wallace, the son of
the 4th Marquess, during the 18th and 19th
centuries.
