Tompkins County Public Library will celebrate Curiosity Day at TCPL with the Thursday, October 10 unveiling of its STEAM Engine maker carts.
Young patrons and families will be able to build science,
technology, engineering, arts and mathematics skills through hands-on
activities and exploration of the tools available on the carts.
The STEAM engines will be available for self-guided patron use
during regular library hours, however, library staff will offer two
demonstrations of featured maker activities during Curiosity Day.
Demonstrations will be held at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. in the Youth Services
Department.
