Tompkins County Public Library is offering creative kids an opportunity to work with professional artist Mary Beth Ihnken to create their own books this fall with “Preschool Bookmaking.”
Being
held Mondays, October 2 through October 23 from 4 to 5 p.m. in the
Thaler/Howell Programming Room, “Preschool Bookmaking” will provide children
ages three through five an opportunity to learn about and create their own
wordless books. Participants will leave the final workshop session with their
own “published” book.
Ihnken
is a professional muralist and decorative painter. She is recognized for her
mural techniques, faux finishes and trompe l’oiel. To read more about Ihnken or
