Young adults are invited to strengthen their creative
muscles during Tompkins County Public Library twice-weekly Teen Writing
Workshops, Tuesdays and Fridays from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. in the Thaler/Howell
Programming Room.
Running through November 17, these workshops will offer an
opportunity for students in grades six through 12 to explore their writing
talents through prompts, exercises and opportunities to share their work.
Sessions are facilitated by Writopia-trained students from Ithaca College.
Participants are encouraged to attend one or multiple workshops;
attendance at all sessions is not required. Advance registration is preferred
but not required. To register or for more information, contact Teen Services
Librarian Regina DeMauro at rdemauro@tcpl.org.
This
program has been made possible by the Tompkins County Public Library Foundation
through support from the Phyllis and Charles Brodhead Memorial Endowed Fund.
