Library to Participate in Gallery Night

Tompkins County Public Library will showcase, “Greetings From Freeville, NY,” a multi-media exhibit featuring the work of teens living and learning at the William George Agency for Children’s Services and the George Junior Republic School, during Downtown Ithaca’s Gallery Night, Friday, October 6 from 5 to 8 p.m..

Curated by Jessica Walls, art educator for WGA and the George Junior Republic School, “Greetings From Freeville, NY” provides a rare opportunity for students to share their talents with the community at-large. The exhibit will be on display through December 15.

After-hours Gallery Night entry to the Library is available through the BorgWarner Community Room entrance, located behind adjacent to TCAT’s East Green Street bus shelter.

For more information, contact the Library Exhibit Coordinator Yvette Rubio at yrubio@tcpl.org.

This exhibit has been made possible through a GAP Grant from the Community Arts Partnership.
