Tompkins County Public Library will host poet and writer Robert Danberg for a series of interactive poetry workshops for children beginning Monday, June 26 at 10 a.m. in the Thaler/Howell Programming Room.
These
free, fun-filled programs for children in kindergarten through second grade
will offer an opportunity for young poets to connect with each other and their senses
to create a list poem.
Danberg
is the coordinator of campus-wide writing support at Binghamton University and
has led poetry and writing workshop for students at Belle Sherman Elementary
School.
This
series will continue through the summer with additional programs planned for
July 17 and August 17.
